Hey everyone,
First off — I owe you all an update.
Life has a funny way of throwing curveballs, and over the past few months I’ve had to navigate a few unexpected challenges both inside and outside of Potato Server. Some personal, some technical — but all part of running something that’s growing faster than originally planned.
On the server side, the biggest hurdle has been dealing with DDoS-related issues. It’s one of those realities you don’t truly appreciate until you’re in the thick of it. The good news is that after a lot of testing, reworking infrastructure, and stress-testing different approaches, I genuinely believe we’ve landed on a solid solution.
We’re currently in the testing phase, and so far everything has been performing extremely well. Stability, connectivity, and protection have all improved significantly — which gives me confidence that we’re finally ready to move forward.
Because of that, I’m happy to say that deployment is coming soon, and when it does, we won’t just be launching one server — we’ll be rolling out multiple new game servers under the Potato Server branding, including:
These servers are being built with the same philosophy Potato Server has always stood for:
I also want to acknowledge the obvious — the last forum post was back in April 2025, and that’s on me. This post is long overdue, and I appreciate everyone who stuck around quietly while things were being sorted out behind the scenes.
Moving forward, I’ll be posting more frequent updates as each server comes online and as we move out of testing and into full availability.
Thank you all for your patience, support, and belief in this project. Potato Server isn’t going anywhere — we’re just leveling up a bit before the next chapter.
More updates soon.

Because of that, I’m happy to say that deployment is coming soon, and when it does, we won’t just be launching one server — we’ll be rolling out multiple new game servers under the Potato Server branding, including:
- 7 Days to Die
- Minecraft Bedrock
- Minecraft Java
- Valheim
- Left 4 Dead
- Left 4 Dead 2
- Assetto Corsa
- Killing Floor 2
These servers are being built with the same philosophy Potato Server has always stood for:
- Private, community-first environments
- Mod-friendly and experimental by design
- Stable infrastructure without unnecessary restrictions
- A place to just play, test, break things, and have fun
